Labcaire uniquely employs carbon filtration to address the problems associated with formalin fumes in Operating Theatres and Pathology Laboratories. With this technology, Labcaire's Chemical Dispensing Station maximises the containment of fumes during the dispensing of formalin in hospital, research and industrial facilities.

A large 50-litre storage tank and flow regulator ensure splash-free filling of smaller containers whilst also allowing the rapid filling of larger vessels. Convenient foot operation leaves both hands free to fill the containers, offering operators an even greater level of safety.

The Labcaire Forensic Fingerprint Cabinet has been designed to enable the quick and easy visualisation of latent fingerprints from a variety of evidence. The cabinet uses the widely recognised technique of developing prints with Ethyl Cyanoacrylate (CNA) or Super-glue but encompasses this with full automation and control of the cycle.

• Place CNA on hotplate
• Purge process will commence and clear the cabinet of all excess fumes
• Fuming will continue for a set time. To prevent the over-development of prints the fuming can be halted at any time at the push of a button

Labcaire provides a range of Aura new-generation Cupboards (as well as custom cupboards) to filter chemical fumes, offering the highest standards of operator protection with a versatile and environmentally sound method of fume and particulate containment. These ductless Cupboards recirculate clean air back into the laboratory and require no additional ventilation or heating into the room, making them suitable for use in clean rooms and air-conditioned rooms.
